UCLA Summer Programs for Undergraduate Research (SPUR)

  • Gain research experience working one-on-one with a faculty member this summer. Program participants will receive a stipend, room, and board in one of the UCLA residence halls and transportation costs.

UCLA Graduate Student Resource Center (GSRC)

  • The GSRC works to understand graduate and professional student needs, to connect graduate and professional students to resources and services, and to advocate for their well-being and success.

UCLA Entering Mentoring Program
  • This 10-week seminar is designed for graduate students and postdoctoral scholars in the sciences and uses a student-centered, integrative approach to learning about best practices for mentoring at the research bench. Graduate students can take the seminar for 1 unit (MOL BIO 300). This seminar course is offered every spring.
